Worked for a few months…not sure it helped any. Now it just crashes, doesnt open. Computer is running very slow, gets jammed. I cant find any one in support to help.

For no particular reason, MacCleanse 4.1.7 from the App Store started crashing on launch a week ago. The app ran perfectly before that. I submitted a support ticket to Koingo Software, but have had no response from them.

Like others, the App Store Version is now crashing on launch. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled a number of times to no avail. If this is their way of getting you to buy a newer version then shame on them.

MacCleanse stopped about a week ago. It it crashes when I launch the program. There isn’t mention of a solution in the Koingo’s support. After spending some time looking MacUpdate andother forums it is obivious that Koingo is only interested in selling licenses and not delivering any level of cusotmer service. Stopped working a week ago, it is crashing every time I open it

This App doesn’t work, and Koing Software doesn’t care about their customer. Don’t buy. It difficult to understand why this App is at the App Store.

Like other reviewers have stated, this app used to work but has now stopped. Crashes when opening. Beware!

This app has been crashing since Sep 2015 without any fix. Worked great before, but don’t recommend it now.

left all their users high and dry. Followed the FAQ only to find that you have to pay to upgrade. Will never download another app from Koingo software.

Everytime I open this app, it closes right back. What good is that????

I just read the posting by “in search of good bill tracking app”, “Urbanbarber”, and “Timjdarizona”. AGREED and CONFIRMED. I have been trying to launch MacCleanse (4.1.7) for weeks now (still on Yosemite, 10.10.5) and it attempts to launch, then closes, attempts, and then closes the coffin door. WHEN it worked (a few months ago now) I enjoyed it. I have become DISENCHANTED...

The latest update renders the program obsolete. It no longer works; it simply crashes as soon as you try and open it. No mention of a fix on the website. Don’t waste your money.

Unless you like the idea of buying an app that will crash instead of open go elsewhere. App does not work.

After 14 bucks the app wont even launch. complete waste.

This app needs an update. It crashes every time I open it. It did it before updating to El Capitan and after!!! They use Apple as an excuse and want you to download it directly from their site. I think that is pretty shady stuff since the whole purpose of the app store is to protect you from downloading something bad.

Don’t know what happened, but have tried several times to uninstall and reinstall. Opens, then nothing. Too bad. They had a unique niche.

Ive used this app for two years or so to empty the cache and other data hogs. In fairness, I noticed a big difference (much faster) when surfing the web after using this product. However, after the last update, if there was one, (October 2015), the app stopped launching and, when I went to the Koingo website, it said I had to buy Version 5. Forget that. I paid 14.99 the first time and still have the same OS on my Mac so, in my opinion, I dont need the latest version. If I did, it should be an update, not a new app purchase. I deleted the product and wont use any more Koingo apps because this is not a good way to do business.

I rarely ever write reviews, but I feel the need to write one now. I loved this app. I really, really did. However, about a week ago, it stopped working completely! Every time I try and open the app it just shuts down and closes! How the heck?!
