Cannot launch the duplicate finder files, it crashes all the time ...

very efficient

I find the whole program very confusing, especially the mingling of actions and settings in the left column. I dont use this anymore for that reason.

Really hard to use, deleted stupid things that most users could do themselves. Thanks for burning me of $8

Be warned. Unless you are a real savvy techie, dont buy this product. Cleanse is not the right term. Wiping out of all your data is more like it. Instructions are vague and poorly written which can result in some costly loss of data. My system has been erased. 15 years worth of work is lost. I am feeling sick. Customer support mirrors the confusion of the instructions. I dont know if my catastrophic loss can be remedied, but be warned…this software is not user friendly and best avoided unless you are a real techie. NOT for the average user.

Ive had this software for 2 days now, and run 4 searches on it. 3 of them have frozen or crashed the system, including the straight-forward Duplicate Search. Only one of those crashes gave me an opportunity to submit a note to the developer. Not a happy camper here.

Lost 8$ crash all the time… Dont buy it!

Not one single successful cleaning after i updated the software, went back to the old version even though my computer isnt that old and still crashes endlessly, i recommend you search for another app , unless they are able to address the issues, i will sadly stick with my deterring review.

…the MacCleanse. It took me a while to understand it, might have been my missing knowledge of terminology. I had to look for the scan button quite a while, but again that might have been just my own stupidity. It is a good software , and for sure for that price anyway…good day!

Whenever I try to open it this version is closing itself. I uninstall it and re-install it to fix but nothing have changed.

Too complicated, you have to set up everything prior, doesnt provide any the information about the stuff you have and what is going to be deleted, but provides a lot of options about the Apps you dont even have. Not recommended. Better get ONYX or something else.

Program shoves error message in macOS Sierra straight after launch: "This install of Mac OS X is corrupt. Re-install Mac OS X or this command-line tool if you wish to use MacCleanse 5."

after about one year of usage it stopped working; tried to reinstall but to no avail. No guidance in the developer’s website. Will uninstall it once and for all and …good riddance. Pity I paid the product, but that is how things work in the new computer crap domination era: the only sure thing is that you pay, then if it works lucky you, if not bad luck.

Very happy to see that the app is working again !!! Great job guys !!! The app has also improved a lot.
